Doreen Currier, Director Doreen came to the shelter in 1998 as shelter manager. In 2005 she was promoted to Director and works continuously to make improvements to help place each and every animal that comes to the shelter. She is pictured here with Luigi. Luigi is an 8 year old handsome guy who was found wandering the streets of Templeton. He is healthy, happy and ready for his new family. Look at that smile!!
Anne and Calico Anne is an Animal Caregiver at the shelter since 2005. Annie is pictured with Calico who has been at the shelter since April 2007. She is a sweet cat who would prefer to be an only child.
Annie has been a surgical vet tech at the shelter since 1999. Vinnie is her newest pride and joy. We all welcome Vinnie to the family of WARL employee pets!
Kathy is the shelter's kennel manager. She has been with the shelter since 1994. Kathy holds a lab pup of a litter of 6 that the shelter has cared for since they were 5 weeks old.
Kim is a surgical vet tech who has been at the shelter since 2006. Gretchen is a 2 year old St. Bernard who came to us for help. She was in desperate need of some TLC. Thanks to the help of the St. Bernard rescue, she will be in her happy new home soon!
Kim is an animal care giver who has been at the shelter since 1996. Monty is a young male cat who is in search of his new forever home.
Rochelle is the shelter's front desk manager. She has been with the shelter since 1998. Keiser is her 12 year old German Shepherds and Kora was adopted by Rochelle from WARL in 2000.
Tara and Bo Tara has been a Kennel Caregiver since 2000. She began as a part-time weekend staff member and became full time in 2005.
Chris and Chandler Chris came to the shelter in 1999 as a full time Kennel Caregiver. She is seen here with Chandler who is on his second time being a shelter resident. He originally came to us back in 2005 after being found homeless and suffering from lyme disease. After recovering from lyme.. he was adopted to a nice family who had to return him after 1 1/2 years. He is now in search of his new home.
Cheryl is an animal care giver that has been at the shelter since 1993. She loves her Drake, one of her rescued cats.
Joey, our shelter resident Joey came to the shelter back in 2003. She was caught in a trap in Gardner, MA. After shelter staff worked for about 5 months to tame this poor girl, she became the apple of everyone's eye. Joey resides at the shelter full time where she can be seen daily as you enter the front door. She will greet all customers, whether they are 2 or 4 legged. Joey has a special place in all our hearts and we hope she will be with us for a very long, long time. |
