Grooming and Boarding

Boarding:

The Rescue League offers cat and dog boarding services in a recently renovated building. It is important to realize that your pet will experience some degree of stress from being away from you and your home. At the Rescue League we take several measures to help reduce this stress.

  • We offer clean accommodations in a climate controlled building. This means your pet will be kept indoors in comfortable temperature conditions at all times.
  • All kennels are equipped with privacy panels to minimize contact with other animals. Not only does this help reduce stress, but it is also promotes healthy living conditions.
  • For those with large breed dogs, we have oversized kennels to accommodate them. Dogs are also walked on a daily basis to help provide exercise, and to be given individual attention.
  • We will feed your pet any food or medication that you bring. Due to the stress your pet will experience being away from home, it is strongly recommended that you provide your own pet food. If you prefer, however, we can provide your pet with food.

All pets must be current on all vaccinations including kennel cough. This is for the health and safety of other pets as well as yours. Pets can be dropped off and picked up Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Reservations for kennel space must be made ahead of time.

Please make sure you discuss any special accommodations (i.e., special medication, food, etc.) that your pet may require. Boarding fees: $20.00 a day for dogs and $10.00 a day for cats. All dog boarders receive a free bath after 5 days.

Grooming:

Grooming consists of bathing, brushing out, and clipping nails. We currently do not shave/trim fur. If your dog has sensitive skin, please inform us so that we may use a sensitive skin formula.

Dog baths are $15.00 for 1-25 pounds, $20.00 for 26-50 pounds and $25.00 for 51 pounds and over.
