The best way to show that you care is to support the shelter. We have a wonderful staff and a great group of volunteers that make our mission a success every day. We are always in need of supplies to keep our shelter clean and operating smoothly. Your membership dollars help tremendously!! Please become a member today:

Basic membership - $35 : You will receive a 2007/2008 membership card AND a free WARL sticker! Please specify "Basic Membership" in the "Payment For" field of the Donations Page.

Gold membership - $50: You will receive a 2007/2008 membership card AND a free WARL T-shirt! Please be sure to fill in "Gold Membership" and your desired shirt size in the "Payment For" field of the Donations Page.

Cage Sponsorships
Another way to help our animals is by sponsoring a cage. This is a perfect opportunity for companies to advertise to hundreds of visitors a week all while supporting homeless animals. Not only will you reach a wide audience, you will show your support for homeless animals and non-profit organizations! We currently have 12 cat cages available and 20 dog kennels available to sponsor.

Kennel and Cage Sponsorships are also a nice way to honor your pet or memorialize a loved one that has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. You may choose to sponsor a kennel or cage for 6 months, one year, or a lifetime. The sponsorship includes an engraved plaque that will be displayed on the front of the cage. A six month sponsorship is $250, a one year sponsorship is $300, and a lifetime sponsorship is $1000.

When you sponsor a cage, please be sure to include this information in the "Payment For" field of our donations page. Please include the business or person whose name you would like to appear on the plaque. Typically, the information will be displayed as:

Save Our Souls Fund
Lashie was a dog whose eyelashes curled into her eyes, a condition called entropia. It cost hundreds of dollars for her multiple surgeries before she could go up for adoption. Zima, a great 5 year old mix breed with Heartworm, cost another few hundred dollars for treatments. Sunshine was a cat with a severe flea allergy that took over 5 months of treatment to make her fur grow back. And Bruce, who was hit by a car and brought to the shelter by a good samaratin who found him suffering on the side of the road, was given weeks of treatments, casts, and pins in his legs. He used up at least 2 of his nine lives!

These animals have all been saved. But many more just like them have been humanely put to sleep only because they all suffer from expensive but treatable conditions. We want to change this. We need your help. Donating to the SOS Fund will allow animals a second-or third- chance at life.

Like many nonprofits, the money to save each and every animal just isn't there. With this fund, the money will be readily availble for the animals needing special care and treatments. When donating to the SOS fund, please make sure that your write "SOS Fund" in the "Payment For" field of our donations page.

Virtual Pet Sponsorships
If you aren't ready to adopt a pet but love animals, then this is for you. For $25 per animal, you can help them find their forever home. All you need to do is find a pet you wish to sponsor, then make an online donation, designating the pet's name in the "Payment For" field of the donation form.

Leave a Legacy
You can ensure the shelter will be here for years to come when you leave a planned gift by writing the Worcester Animal Rescue League into your will. It is best to discuss this with your lawyer or financial planner as well as the Director of the League to guarantee your wishes will be carried out.
